The Waikato Times says :— " All who want to enjoy the finest pheasant shooting in the world should visit the Waikato during the next two months. We do not exaggerate when we say that the birds are as plentiful as in many a gentleman's park in the old country j of course there is nothiug to be had in the shape of a " battue, ;-" a system of slaughter hateful to every true sportsman. Good sport is to be had, and we trust that many will participate in it."
