Two Crocodiles' Nests, containing no less than 100 eggs, many of them nearly hatched, have been discovered and destroyed near Botven, in Queensland. Agricultural laborers are so scarce that farmers in the Taieri have raised their men's wages £10 a year. Female domestics. were never so scarce before. A South Australian Journal says : — Adelaide flour is generally admitted to-be the finest in the world; with almost .equal truth it may be said that Adelaide bread«is the worst that is made with it.
