Company's contract for the further consideration of a permanent plan of operations, but the P. and O. -Company have offered to continue the present service temporarily for two years at the present rates, or for three years at a reduction of £ 12,000 a year, the steamers calling in both instances at Glenelg, South Australia We request the concurrence of the colony of Victoria in the extension of the contract for either two or three years, so that Her Majesty's Government may decide.
