West Coast last week, by Mr O 'Conor. The largest weighs 36 ounces, and the remainder are hat little less, the whole, together with a few smaller ones, being the produce of only two roots. They were grown in the Inangahua Valley, on the farm of Messrs Taylor aud Christie.
The p. s. Paterson, Captain Kennedy, arrived in Wellington on Thursday night, after a most stormy passage of eight days from Auckland, haviDg to put in for shelter on three several occasions.
