I will here only state that my opinion with regard to the Public Works Act of 1870 and 1871 have undergone no change since I addressed you last, and should I have the honour of being elected, would support the present Ministry in carrying out these important works I will shortly address you in the different localities of the district on the important questions with which the G-overnment of the colony is .occupied, and which are of paramout interest to the colony at large.
