To the Editor op the Nelson- Evening Mail. Sir—Having seen notices in the papers to the efiect that '"every conveyance in town was engaged to convey the public bodies to Stoke," we beg to contradict the statement, as not one of our conveyances are engaged, nor have we had' any enquiry about them. As such notices are likely to injure our trade upon that day, we hope you will give this letter publicity in justice to ourselves. We are, &c, Twist & Gat. Nelßon, April SO, 1873.
