March 3.—Chief Justice Stawell was sworn in Acting Governor to-day. The barque Bllesmeie totally wrecked at Richmond Heads. ' •' The schooner Challenger has been seized by H.M.S. Basilisk, for breach of labor traffic. Dr. Carr again escaped from the Lunatic Asylum, but was arrested at Sandridge.
