Mesmerism. — Dr. Carr gave the last but one of his farewell seances at tbe Masonic Hall last night, when the attendance was not quite so good as on previous occasions. The entertainment, however, was quite equal to those that preceded it, and wbich bave generally secured to the lecturer overflowing audiences. Dr. Carr will make his final appearance to-morrow night. Amateur Theatricals. — A iew lady and gentlemen amateurs, who have already created a most favorable impression upon Nelson audiences, purpose giving a performance at the Oddfellows' Hall on Monday evening next, invitations to wbich are to be sent to all our volunteer visitors, who will doubtless appreciate the kindness of those who have gone to considerable trouble to provide them with an evening's amusement. The nett proceeds will be devoted to tbe Hospital Convalescent Fund. The pieces to be acted are tbe Chimney Corner, and Charles Matthew's amusing farce of Little Toddlekins. The general public will no doubt attend in considerable force.
