Your telegram received, stating that no report bad been received from Engineer-iu-Chief on country between Brunner Mine and the Port. As I understand Engineer-in-Chief has examined the country, I shall be glad if the Government will ascertain and inform me whether he considers the line selected to be the best for the development of the mine.
