The Directors of the Greymouth Gas Company have accepted the tender of Mr. George Martin for 400 tons coal at 16s. per ton. In order to encourage the coal trade of the port, the Grey River Steam Tug CornCompany have resolved to reduce the towage on all vessels calling here in ballast specially for the purpose of loading coal to. 3s. per ton burthen. The Westport Times reports, as a matter of personal gossip, that a fair young Hebe of Greymouth is about to enter the lists in a breach of promise case, against a gay Lothario who has failed to fulfil his contract to enter into the bonds of matrimony. ,7 For continuation of news see fourth page.'
