CORRESPONDENCE.
TO THE EdiTOE OF THE NELSON EVENING MAIL. Sin— -Some per son, calling himself a flea, has written to the Colonist this morniDg complaining that I have displayed a readiness to snap at Mr Luckie directly his back is turned, the foundation for the accusation "being that I bad commented upon an article which appeared in the last issue of that journal. My reply to this lively little gentleman is that I did not know at the time of writing my letter, nor do I know now, who was the author of the article in question, but I i do not believe it was Mr Luckie, as I scarcely think he would have made so stupid a mistake. I impugned the statement, but made no attack on the writer. The snappish little •' Fulex " should endeavor to understand tbat there is a difference between the two. ] I am, &c, j Fight Faib.
