THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that it is the intention of . the Provincial Government to proclaim and declare that on and after the Ist day of MAY, 1873, the undermentioned boundaries shall be the boundaries if the A MUM DISTRICT for the purposes of " The Nelson Bc»b Act, 1868," and v The Nelson Scab Act Amendment Act, 1869 ;" and that the 9th and 10th sections of the Nelson Scab Ace, 1868,"' shall come into operation witbin the' said boundaries hereinafter described, on and after? the said Ist day of MAY, 1873, viz :— ' From the mouth of the Hurunui River to Lake Sumner; from Lake Sumner to the saddle between the Hurunui and Teremakau; thence Northward by the boundary of the Nelson South-west Goldfields to Mount Franklyn; thence by the western watershed of tlie Wairau River to the Tophouse; thence by the boundary between t lie Provinces of Nelson and Marlborough to the mouth ot the river Conway; thence by the sea coast to the mouth of the river Hurunui.
