THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that it is the intention of the Government to proclaim and declare the 9 fch and 10th sections of "The Nelson Scab Act, 1868," to be in operation throughout the Province of Nelson on and after the let day of MAY next, excepting only that portion of the Nelson Southwest Goldfields comprised wiihhi the following boun- aries, viz. — Commencing at the mouth of the river Grey on the sta coast; thence hy the &>a coast to the mouth of the river Karma- I*;1 '*; thence t"p the Kstrami a tiver t > a point known as the Kuramea Bend; thence in a straight line to the junction of. the rivers Wangapeka and iJart; thence in * straight line to the junction of the rivers Buller and Hupe; thence following the boundary of the Nelson South-west Goldfields to the boundary of the County of Westland; thence by the boundary of tbe said couuty to the' source of the river Arnold; thence by the rivers Arnold aud Grey to the sea coast.
