THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that it is the intention of the Government to proclaim and declare the 9th and 10th sections of "The Nelson Scab Act, 1868," to be in operation throughout the Province of Nelson on aad after the Ist day of MAY next, excepting only that portion of the Nelson Southwest Goldflelds comprised within the following boundaries, viz. — ■ Commencing at the mouth of the river Grey on the sea coastj thence by the sea coast to the mouth of the river Ivaramea; thence up the Karainca river to a point known as the Kararaea Bend; thence in a straight line to the junction of the rivers Wangapeka and Dart; thence in a straight line to the junction of the rivers Buller aud . Hope; thence following the boundary of the Nelson South-west' Goldfields to. the boundary of the County of Westland; thence by the boundary of the said county to the source of the river Arnold; thence by the rivers Arnold and Grey to the sea coast.
