THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to he notified that it is the intention of the Government to proclaim and declare the 9th and loth sections of " The Neleon Scab Act, 18G8," to be in operation throughout the Province of Nelson on and after the Ist day of MAY next, excepting only that portion of the Nelson Southwest Goldfields comprised wiihin.the following bounc-aries, viz. — Commencing at the mouth of the river Grey oh the sea coast; thence by the sea coast to the mouth of the river Karamea; thence up the Karamea river to a point known as the Karamea Bend; thence in a straight line to^the junction of the rivers Wangapeka and Dart; thence in a straight line to the junction of the rivers Buller and Hope; thence following the boundary of the Nelson South-west Gbldfields to the boundary of the County of Westland; thence by the boundary of the said county to the source of the river Arnold; thence by the rivers Arnold and Grey to the sea coast.
