As a member of the Town Committee of Education, I deny having given my consent that the Hall should be used for any purpose other than a public one, to the exclusion of the hundreds of children belonging to the town • schools, and can only express my surprise that the Superintendent, or any member of the Committee, should have given their consent to such a proceeding. I am, Sir, yours, &c, M. M. Webster.
