FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS, tenable for two years, are OFFERED for COMPETITION ; to such pupils of the Public Schools of the Province as have completed their twelfth year, and have attended a Provincial School for the last two years. The value of the two Scholarships given by the Provincial Council (which are open only to scholars who have attended Country Schools) is £40 per annunij to "which the Governors of the College add a free education. The Governors' Scholarships carry with them a free education at the College. Candidates must present themselves at Mr. Smith's Schoolroom, with certificates of attendance, TOMORHOW (Wednesday) December 4th, at Half-past Ten a.m. Arrangements will be made for local examina tions on the West Coast.
