The chief to receive fifty lashes. Cromwell, Fov. 23. A fire occurred on Tuesday night in Harding' s cottage. The family escaped with bare life, and nothing was saved. Timaetj, Novemher-28. The adjourned inquest on the'body of George Blackall was held yesterday. The post mortem examination revealed a wound over ihe left ear. A verdict was returned of wilful murder against some person or persons unknown.
