On this occasion PIX DOUBLE-ACTION (TENTRAL FIXE BREECH-LOADING RE VOLVERS will be given to be competed for as under :— Bt No. 1, City Rifles - - 2- Revolvers. Waimea West Rifles - 2 „ Cadets - - - - 2 „ The first two Companies will fire at ranges of 200, 400, and 500 yards; five shots at each range; target, 6ft by 4ft at 200 yards; 6ft by 6ft at 400 and 500 -yards. c . Any position (except first range in each case, which saall be standing position), without artificial rest, The Cadets will fire at ranges of 100, 150, and 200, yards; target, 6ft by 4ft. ; any position. „ The Rules and Regulations adopted for the last General Government Prize Competition in other respects to be strictly adhered to.
