On this occasion SIX DOUBLE- ACTION CENTRAL FIBE BREECH-LOADING RE VOLVERS will be given to be competed for as under :— Bt No. 1, City Rifles - - 2 Revolvers. ' Waimea West Rifles - 2 „ Cadets - - - - 2 „ The first two Companies will fire at ranges of 200, 400, and 500 yards; five shots at each range; target, 6ft by 4ft at 200 yards; 6ft by 6ft at 400 and 500 yards. Any position (except first range in each case, which shall be standing position), without artificial rest. The Cadets will fire at ranges of 100, 150, and 200 yards; target, 6ft" by 4ft.; any position.
