On this occasion SIX DOUBLE- ACTION ' CENTRAL FIXE BREECH-LOADING RE VOL VERS will be given to be competed for as under :— Br No. 1, City Rifles - - 2 Revolvers. Waimea West Rifles - 2 „ Cadets - 2 „ The first two Companies will fire at ranges of 200, 400, and 500 yards; five shots at each range; target, 6ft by 4ft at 200 yards; 6ft by 6ft at 400 and 500* yards. Any position (except first range in each case, which shall be standing position), without artificial rest. : The Cadets will fire at ranges of 100, 350, and . 200 yards; target, 6ft by 4ft,; any position. . The Rules and Regulations adopted for the ' last General Government' Prize Competition in other respects to be strictly adhered to. No prize .will be given to any person who does not score 30 points.
