PThe latter part of the following telegram is not £ very clear, but we are compelled to give it as it reached us.] Wellington, September 10. It is stated tbat Mr. Stafford is to be. Premier and Native Minister, with two Natives to act as advisers, but not to held seats in the Executive. Mr. Waterhou&e will be Colonial Secretary, Mr. Gillies Colonial Treasurer, Mj\ Reid Minister of Public Works without Imtniaratfon,-Mr. FitzherMr. Curtis' unaltered.
Auckland, September 10. The New-Ministry is considered very stroDg and gives general satisfaction. A requisition is being got up asking Mr. Williamson to stand for the Superintendency. It is reported that Mr. Yogel has been asked, but would stand no chance if he consented. Mr.Sheehan is also spoken of, >mt is not likely to meet with general support.
The Native members seem to take an increasing interest in public affairs. Mr. Parata has given notice to move, That the office of Commissioner of Native Reserves should be abolished, and that the Native owners of such reserves should have full power to deal with them in such manner as they may deem fit; and Mr. Tairoa has giyen notice; to move,' That a select committee be appointed to enquire ' into 5 and report npon the unfulfilled prpiniMS to Natives in the Middle Island.
