Each tenderer will be required to give security as provided for on the form of tender, for a sum equal to 2 per cent, on the amount of tender, binding the tenderer to take up the service tendered for, and execute the necessary contract bond in the event of his tender being accepted. Forms of tender and security, with terms and conditions of contract, may be procured at any Postoffice. No tender will be considered eligible unless made on the printed form provided by the department.
