SEALED TENDERS will be received at the Chief Post-office, Nelson, till the 30th. SEPTEMBER Next, for the CONVEYANCE of MAILS between the undermentioned places from (he Ist January to the 31st December, 1873, both days included :— Frequency No. Services. Each Way. 1 Nelson and Foxhill once daily 2 Foxhill and Wangapeka once weekly 3 Foxhill and Wangapeka once fortnightly 4 Nel&on and Kiwaka twice weekly 5 Spring Grove and Waimea thrice weekly West 6 Nelson nnd Wakapuaka twice weekly 7 Chief Post-office and the ; Port . as required 8 Nelson and Havelock once fortnightly. Each tenderer will be required to give security as provided for on the form of tender, for a sum equal to 2 per cent, on the amount of tender, binding the tenderer to take up the service tendered for, and execute the necessary contract bond in the event of his tender being accepted. Forms of tender and security, with terms and conditions of contract, may be procured at any Postoffice. No tender will be considered eligible unless made on the printed form provided by the department.
