It is requested that, if possible, all the players should appear in uniform. A Grahamstown telegram dated August 26th says: — The Maori king has sent his gold watch to Mr. James Mackay, jun., by a natjye named Tuinipi, for him to get it cleaned and procure a gold ch^n. He has invited Mr. Mackay to visit him, and take back the watch. It is presumed the watch is only a passport as it is in good order.
