Irrespective of the immense nnnual revenue of this Society, gradually and surely on tlie increase, it possesses a reserve fund of £2,300,000 and upwards, available for its requirements. : LOCAL INVESTMENT. : The receipts of this Society nre to be retained for investments in the Colony, thus nffordii'jr to insurers all the advantages of a Lccal Institution, with the additional Security of a large and wealthy English Proprietary. RATES OP PREMIUM. These areframed as low as are consistent with the due safety of the Socitty. Its Actuary is known to be one of the most competent authorities in England, the Court of Chancery having recently availed itself of his experience in these matters ; and although the premiums may be apparently higher than in some offices, assurers should not lose sight of the fact, that they receive them buck, either in bonuses, or additions to suras assured, and that in insuring in this Society they also avail themselves ot the experience and safety of one that time has proved to he secure against all chances PARTICIPATION OF PROFITS. To meet one of the greatest wants of the day, the Norwich Union issues Policies in the nature of [settlements, whereby a men in solvent circumstances, provide the matter is bona fide, may secure (tvithot the risk or bamkrufict), a certain and direct provisions for bis family, NO CHARGES For Medical fees, Stamps, or Policies. One-half the first -five years- premiums may remain unpaid upon whole Life Policies.
