The Norwich Union Life Society has 710 distinct body of Proprietors ; the insurers at large are the recipients of the saMrigs of the institution : the premiums? paid, being in fact only deposits, revert to those who contribute to them. RESOURCES. Irrespective of the immense annual revenue of thia Society, gradually and surely on. the increase, it possesses a reserve fund of £2,300,000 and upwards, available for its requirements. lOCAL INVESTMENT. The receipts of this Society are to be retained for investments in the Colony, thus affording to insurers all the advantages of a Local Institution, with the additional Security of a large and wealthy English Proprietary. RATES OF PREMIUM. These are framed as low as are consistent with the due safety of the Society. Its Actuary is known to be one of the most competent authorities' in England, the Court of Chancery having recently availed itself of his experience in these matters ; and although the premiums may be apparently higher than in some offices, assurers should not lose sigrt of the fact, that they receive them back, either in bonuses, or additions to sums assured, and that in insuring in this Society they also avail themselves ot the experience and safety of one that time has proved to he secure against all chances PARTICIPATION OF PROFITS. NO CHARGES For Medical fees, Stamps, or Policies. One-half the first five years' premiums may remain unpaid upon whole Life Policies.
