SIN AND CRIME.
To the Editor of tiie Nelson EvEirixa Mail. Sir —Will it be considered presumptuous on my part to doubt the accuracj' of the learned and conscientious Judge who adorns and elevates our courts of justice when he says that suicide is not a crime ? Suppose the sinning man had a halfdozen children depending on his labor for their support, is it no crime against society that these helpless beings should be thrown upon that society for support and education to make them fitting members of society ? I am, & c. Question.
