SYDNEY.
The doctor attending the passengers by the Hero has been attacked by smallpox. Tbe Hero is still in quarantine. Two more of tho crew of the brig Carl have been remanded on a charge of outrages against Polynesians. The Chamber cf Commerce is advocating the issue of small gold coinage. There have been heavy gales along the coast of New South Wales, and fears are entertained for several vessels.
