WELLINGTON, July 31. The Wellington leaves for the North to-night. Auckland, July 31. At the annual local meeting ot the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company, Mr. Thomas Russell, the chairman, assured the proprietors of the continued saiisfactory progress of the Company, and the development of its business. The report shows that the nett profit for the year, including £1600 brought forward from 1870, was £19,555 8s lOd.
