THE O'CONOR CASE.
The following statutory declaration by Alexander Wilkie, of Nelson, bas been forwarded to Wellington as a set-off to that recently made by John Maunder Langdon. An excellently constituted Select Committee (consisting of the following gentlemen — Pearce, Kenny, Murray, Swanson, O'Rorke, Rolleston, Studholme, White, Bryce.Carrington, Steward, Sir David Monro, and Gillies, chairman) has been appointed to enquire into the whole circumstances of the case, and there canj be no doubt that full justice will be done to Mr. O'Conor.
