MAILS CLOSE. For Picton, Wellington, Napier, and Southern Provinces of New Zealand — per s.s. Taranaki, this day, at 7 pm. For Motueka and Golden Bay— per p.s. Lady Barkly, to-morrow, at 4.30 p.m. For Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika— per p 8. Wallace on Wednesday, at 10 a.m. Note. — The next home mail, outwards, via San Francisco, will leave Nelson on Monday, sth August. Mails are due in London on Sept, 21. For the United Kingdom via Suez and Brindisi, (only specially addressed letters), and for the Australian Colonies, India, China, the East, and the Continent of Europe, Mauritius, Cape of Good Hope, St. Helena, &c. — per s.s Alhambra, about Saturday, 27th July. Mails be due in London on the 29th September, and sth October.
For Tadmor and Wangapeka — Close every Tuesday at 2.30 p.m., and arrive every Friday, at 11 a.ra. For Wakapuaka — Close every Wednesday and Saturday, at 2.30 p.m.; arrive every Wednesday and Saturday, at 11 a.m. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
