She arrived at Wellington in 1846, where she remained two years, and then came to Nelson in 1848, where she kept a school for several years, became infirm, and after some years of delicate health, died attended by the members of her congregation. A Frightful Scene took place at Bathurst the other day on the occasion of the execution of the murderer Conn. When the drop fell the shock was so great that the head was severed from the body, and remained on the gallows until removed by the executioner.
