ADELAIDE.
Lewis, the publisher of the Protestant Advocatet has been charged with libelling Miss Wood, a Sister of the Convent of St. Joseph. He pleaded justification, but was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, and a fine^of £50. v Wheat ss. lOd.
