The Freemantle Herald reports that on Sunday, the 10th March, the colony of Western Australia was visited by a storm such as had never before been experienced. At Bunbury, the Midas; a vessel chartered by a New, Zealand firm to take, a valuable cargo of .timber, among which were a number of 70ft. piles for a' jetty at Dunedin, dragged her anchors, went ashore on the bar, and became a helpless, hopeless wreck in a couple of hours. . .
