Gas and Waterworks Loan. —lt will be seen by advertisement that the time for receiving tenders for debentures under the Nelson City Loan Act is extended to the 30th instant. Oddfellowship. —lu consequence of the unfavorable state of the weather the festivities that were to have taken place at Richmond to-day have pbeen postponed until Tuesday next, the 16th instant. Concert. —The heavy rain that bas been falling all day, and the apparent likelihood of its continuing through the night have induced the promoters of the concert in aid of the All Saints' Church Organ Fund, that was advertised to take place this evening to postpone it until tbis day week. Nelson's English Mail. —We are authorised to Btate that the Phoebe with the over-due mails will be here on Sunday night. The Postoffice will be opened for the delivery of letters at the window as soon as the letter portion oi the mails is sorted. We learn that the Government has arranged for the detention of the Phoebe at Nelson till Tuesday afternoon*
