TESTIMONIAL.
The following address was presented to Captain Benjamin B. Creagh, of Messrs. N. Edwards and Co.'s steamship Kennedy, by the Passengers, on the arrival of the vessel in the Westport roadstead : — To B. B. Cbeagh, Esq., Commander of the S.S. Kennedy— Dear Sir, — We, the passengers on board the s.s. Kennedy, have great pleasure in congratulating you on this your first voyage as commander, and wish to testify our high opinions of you as to your able and seamanlike abilities, and your attention at all times to the duties connected with the ship. We beg further to acknowledge your courteous and gentlemanly conduct, and also that of the officers of the ship on all occasions, and we trust the career before you so well begun may be long and prosperous. We are, &c, Signed on behalf of thirty-eight passengers? by Edward DeCarle, and W. R. Gordon. Westport Roadstead, April 2, 1872.
