THE FIRE ENGINE.

To The Editor of the Nelson Evening Mail, Sik— As we are now pretty well supplied with water, seeißg that not only the centre of the Town, but the Wood and the Valleys, have had water mains carried through them, would it not be but just and proper that the Eire Engine should be stationed henceforth, say, at Richmond, where it might be of great service. If it remains where it is, I do not see that it can ever be available for putting out fire. I am, &c. Householder.
