THE NELSON AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION intend holding a SHOW sometime in APRIL NEXT, when PRIZES will be offered for HORSES, CATTLE, SHEEP, and other STOCK ; also AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE and for the BEST EXHIBITS OF PROVINCIAL INDUSTRIES, conuected with Farming. NOTICE is Hereby Given that the ASSESSMENT of all PROPERTY liable to be Rated under the Provisions of the " Waterworks Act, 1863," has been made, and may be inspected at the Waterworks Office, Hardy-street, between the hours of Two and Four o'clock p.m., by any person, for a period of Twenty -one Days from this date. Any person who may think himself aggrieved by the Assessment, may APPEAL to a Bench of Magistrates, in accordance with the Provisions of Clause 16, of ,the Waterworks Act. NELSON CITY LOAN FOR GAS AND WATERWORKS. riIENDERS will be received at this Office until JL MONDAY, the 15th day of April, 1872, for DEBENTURES, with Coupons attached, to h e amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS, to be issued under the authority of the " Nelson City Loan Act, 1871." Each Debenture will be for the sum of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS, bearing SIX PER CENT. INTEREST, and will be issued in the form, and subject in all respects to the conditions as to security and payment of interest, provided in the above-mentioned Act. The Debentures will be made Payable in Thirty Years from the date of issue, with interest at the above-mentioned rate, payable half-yearly at this Office. Tenders may be made for one or more Debentures, and must be forwarded under cover, addressed to the Provincial Treasurbr, Nelson, and marked "Tender for Debentures."
