We are intebted to Mr. B. B. Pringle, purser of the s.s. Phoebe, for the folio-wing report of that vessel's trip from Otago :— The s.s. Phoebe, H. Worsp, commander, left Port Chalmers on the 22nd at 2 p.m. ; had a heavy southerly gale with liard squalls and rain. Arrived at Lyttelton on the 23rd at 9 a.m.; sailed again same day at 6.15 p.m. for Wellington, arriving there at noon on the 24th. Left again on the 25th at 2.30 a.m.,and arrived at Picton at 7.30 a.m. Proceeded from thence at 9 am. arriving at the outer anchorage at 8 p.m. same day, where she remained for the tide.
