The Anchor Line Company's p.s. Charles Edward, Captain Holmes, arrived ye-terday at 5 p.m. She left Nelson at 3 p.ra. on Wednesday 14th inst. ; arrived at Westport at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Left again at 2 a.m. on Friday, and crossed the Grey bar •at 1 p.m. same day ; left Greymouth at 2 p.m. on Saturday, arriving at Hokitika at 4 p.ra. Crossed the bar outward at 3 p.m. on Monday ; arrived at the Grey at 5 pro coaled, and leiii again at 6.30 a.m. on Tues lay, arriving at Westport at 2 p.m, sailed again at 6.30 p.m. and arrived as above. Experienced brisk S.E. gale with hard squalls of rain on the passage up.
