London, December 29. The Prince of Wales is recovering, and is able to go out. "Wool trade remains steady, but transactions not numerous. Tbe next sales will take place ou the Bth of February. There have been two fresh arrivals with 70,000 bales. The arrivals to date comprise r —Syduey, 824 bales; afloat, 13,568 bales; Port Phillip, 1,609 bales; afloat, 37,750 bales; New Zealand, 946 bales; afloat, 1829. bales. A considerable reduction in importers' charges for warehousing wool i& announced. It is expected that the late rates will be maintained.
