For Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika — per p.s. Charles Edward, on the Ist Feb. For New Plymouth, Auckland and Fiji — per s.s. Phoebe, on the Ist Feb.

Mails by s.s. Alhambra, will close to-day, Wednesday, as under : —

For tbe United Kingdom, via Suez and Brindisi (only specially addressed letters), India, China, and the East; the Continent of Europe, via Suez, to be despatched from Melbourne, on the 16th February, by the extra trip of the Bangalore — at 8 p.m. Newspapers, Registered Letters, and Money Orders — at 5 p.m. For Greymouth, Hokitika, and the Australian Colonies — at 8 p.m.

For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, via Suez and Brindisi (only specially addressed letters); India, China, and the East, Cape of Good Hope, &c. — per s.s. Albion, about Saturday, February 10. Mails are due in London 14th and 20th April.
