The Review, an insurance periodical published in London, in its issue of Ist November gives some interesting particulars of the losses sustained by the various offices through the late tremendous fire in Chicago, the aggregate amounting to £6,000,000 sterling. No mention is made of the local offices, if any ; but the names of 122 others are given belonging to various states of the Union which had suffered more or less, and of these 19 had suspended. Only five Euglish offices appear to have been interested, of which three have branches here — the. Royal, the Imperial, and the London, Liverpool, and Globe.
