St. Mary's School. — The prizes at St. Mary's Boys' School will be distributed on Wednesday eveniog next by his Honor the Superintendent. The Missing Man prom Bishopdale. —We understand ihat Benjamin Townsoo, whose absence has given rise to such alarm, has turned up at Wakefield, having •called at Mr* TunmclifFs on Saturday last.
A Rascally Trick. — Some evil disposed individual with more spare time on his bauds than brains in his head, amused himself just after dark on Saturday evening while the Dun Mountain ' Bus was down at the Port by removing the points opposite Messrs. Stevenson & M'Glashan's stables, thereby causing it to run off the rails on its return to town. Fortunately no serious accident resulted, though such might have been the case, and it would afford us considerable pleasure to be able to report that the cowardly offender had been brought up before the Resident Magistrate anrl received his deserts in the shape of a good flogging.
