CORRESPONDENCE.
j O *** We are iJesirous of affordina every reasonable I facility i'or tlie discussion of public subjects; but it | must, be understood that we are in no wav responsible for the opinions expressed by correspondents. i To The Editor of tue Nelson Evening Mail. i i Sir, — I see by the leading article in tbe i Colonist of yesterday that, after all the talk we are not likely to bave the sewerage carried ont, at least for some time to come. I can see very clearly if the contract had bpen given to an experienced brickmaker I the job would have been begun, and in two months time would have been half finished. 1 It is an old proverb that delays are dangerous. I think that it is well proved in the present instance. I shall only hope that the work may eventually be carried out satisfactorily. I ara, &c, A Ratepayer. j Nelson, January 6, 1872.
