Mr. Oakey, Inventor of, and Performer on, the " Orchestrina," begs to state that, in London, he underwent a thorough training with his father (who held one ot the highest positions at Messrs. Collard and Collard's) in the art of covering hammers, making the small work, and finishing and regulating Pianofortes. In the course of a long practice in Tuning, &c, he has studied all the makers' various mechanisms, ,here being upwards of thirty different actions. In order to effect repairs on the most reason able terms. Mr. Oakey, has erected a Workshop, and purchased all the most recent inventions in Tools, including a Lathe, Drilling, Woring, and Morticing Machines. Ho cau, therefore, confidently say that, he now possesses by far the largest set of Musical Tools, and Pianofortemaking M.ichinery in New Zealand. In addition, he has in stock varieties of Felt for hammer covering (this he can effect at English prices); Leathers and Cloths for Actions, Dampers, Hoppers, Levers, and varions parts of Pianoforte mechanism; Smith's Patent Pian. Wire; Harmonium Heeds ; and all the requisites for the repairs of Organs, Harmoniums, Concertiuas, Fiutinas, Organ Accordions; also for Eucerpeons,, and every kind of self-acting instrument. Mr. Oakey respectfully invites inspection of his Workshop at any time, feeling confident that he can render a good old Pianoforte almost equal to new, and effect Repairs, &c., cheaper, and infinitely better, than any peripatetic Tuner.
