o FIIIDAY, DECEiIUER 15, 1871. All tbe members present. The question of erecting; a barricade ou the Port Road on the Regatta day was discussed, nnd a resolution passed to the effect that after the decision of the Resident Magistrate last year in the case of Beattie v. Cooksey, the Board regretted that it was powerless to protect the public in this direction. A plan of the proposed Sewage Works, together with a detailed estimate, was produced by the Surveyor. The following tenders for bricks were received : —
