B. Creagh, chief officer of the s.s. Kennedy, for the following report-. —The Anchor Line Co.'s s.s. Kenned* arrived here yesterday morning at 1 o'clock- She left Nelson on Sunday, 29th October, at 10 a.m.; nt 5 p.m., rounded the Spit End, it blowing very hard from S.W.; at 8 p.m., was abreast of Cape Farewell; at midnight, was abreast of West Wanganui, wind and sea increasing; at 8 a.m. on Monday was abreast of Rocks' Point, arriving off the Buller Bar, at 5 p.m. At 9 pni., went in and made fast for the night. Landed cargo on' Tuesday, and left at 10 p.m. for Hokitika; weather moderating; at 8 a.m. on Wednesday arrived off Hokitika, and at 9.30 a.m. crossed the bar and landed portion of cargo. On Thursday, landed remainder of cargo, and took in a quantity of merchandise for Grey mouth; left Hokitika at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday, wind F.W. and rain, and arrived at Greymouth at 2.30 p.m ; landed portion of cargo; on Friday, discharged the remaining part of the cargo, and took in 36 tons coal, left at 1 p.m. for Westport, wind N.W. and rain, arriving there at 11.30 p.m.; left at I p.m. on Saturday; experienced strong N.W. and S.W. winds, heavy squslta and rain on the •passage to this port, arriving as above. She sails again to-morrow morning, at i o'clock.
