Charles Edward, Captain Holmes, arrived from the West Coast to-day. She left Nelson on Thursday last at 8 a.m., and arrived at Westport the following morning at 6.30 a.m. Left at 9 p.m., and crossed the Hokitika bar at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Sailed at 9 a.m. on Sunday, and arrived at Greymouth at II a.m. Left that port at midnight, and arrived at Westport at 10 a.m. on Monday. Sailed again at noon and arrived as above. Fine weather was experienced throughout the voyage. She leaves for the West Coast ports at noon to-morrow.
