Lady Barkly, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. For Stoke, Richmond, Hope, Spring Grove, Wakefield, and Foxhill— Close at Chief Post Office daily at 2.30 p.m.; arrive at Chief Post Office daily, at 11 o'clock, a.m. For Tadmor and Wangapeka — Close every Tuesday and Friday, at 2.30 p.m., and arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 11 a.m. For Wakapuaka— Close every Wednesday and Saturday, at 2.30 p.m.; arrive every Wednesday and Saturday, at 11 a.m. For Appleby, Upper and Lower Moutere, Nga Timote, Motueka, and Riwaka— Close every Monday and Thursday, at 8.30, a.m.; arrive every Tuesday and Friday, at 4 p.m. Also, for Motueka per steamer as opportunity offers. Note. — In consequence of the Australian Mails being now conveyed by British Packets between j Brindisi and Alexandria, a reduction in Postage j on Letters sent via Brindisi ha 3 been effected. The rates x>f Postage to be charged in New Zealand on Correspondence for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi, will therefore be as follows :— Letters. — Not exceeding \ ounce, 9d. ; exceeding \ ounce and not exceeding 1 ounce. Is. 6d. ; and so on, 9d for every additional \ ounce or fraction of \ ounce. under 4 ounces, each 4d.; for every additional 4 ounces, 4d. Booh and Pattern Parcels.— Not exceeding 1 ounce, 2d. ; exceeding 1 ounce and not exceeding *• 2 ounces, 4d. ; exceeding 2 ounces and not exceeding 4 ounces, 7d. ; exceeding 4 ounces and not exceeding 8 ounces, Is.
